The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences in Memphis, Tennessee, is seeking full-time non-tenure track Geriatric Psychiatrist. This is an Open Rank faculty position. The position is largely outpatient psychiatry, and the faculty member is expected to work closely with neurology and related services in a Memory Care Clinic setting.

EDUCATION: MD, DO, or equivalent.
LICENSES: Board certification in Psychiatry by the ABPN is required. Completion of an accredited residency or equivalent, as permitted by state law, is required and sub-certifications/training in Geriatric Psychiatry is highly preferred. International Medical Graduates who have completed an ACGME-accredited residency are encouraged to apply. A TN Medical License and DEA License is required at the time of onboarding.

This position consist of clinical care, clinical supervision of trainees, departmental and university service, and teaching. There are options for protected research time for appropriate applicants. Active areas of research include prospective clinical and clinical trials in addiction, pain in aging, cancer, and dementia, large neuroimaging database analyses, clinical trials in child and adolescent psychiatry, epidemiology, outcomes, and service delivery research.
