Provides part-time administrative and operational support for the Budget and Business Office. Assists with data entry, financial and contract processing support, records management, and general office coordination to support the daily operations of the department. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in higher education finance and business operations while working in a collaborative office environment. This is an on-campus temporary position up to 20 hours per week.

Required:
- This is an on-campus position.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Experience performing clerical, customer service, administrative support, or data entry tasks.
Preferred:
- Associate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields.
- One year of experience working in an office or administrative support environment.
- Experience in higher education, finance, accounting, or budget-related office support.
- Assists the Budget and Business Office with routine data entry and clerical support tasks. Enters information into spreadsheets and university systems, updates tracking documents, organizes files, and reviews documents for completeness and accuracy. Assists with maintaining organized electronic and paper records.
- Provides administrative support for day-to-day office operations. Assists with preparing, scanning, copying, uploading financial and administrative documents. Helps track the status of documents and follows established office procedures.
- Assists office staff with general supporting duties including monitoring shared email inboxes, responding to routine questions, answering phones, taking messages, scheduling meetings, and preparing basic documents and reports. Provides custom service support to campus departments as needed.
- Assists with maintaining and organizing filing systems, records retention, and document storage for the Budget and Business Office. Retrieves files and supporting documentation as requested by staff and assists with office organizational projects.
- Performs other entry-level clerical and administrative duties as assigned in support of the Finance and Administration division. Assists with special projects, audit preparation, and other office supports during peak workload periods.
