The Program Coordinator supports the effective delivery of UTC’s Center for Professional Education (CPE) programs by managing day-to-day operations, logistics, scheduling, and program communications. As a primary point of contact for learners, instructors, and partners, this role ensures programs run smoothly and meet institutional standards.

The Program Coordinator supports the effective delivery of UTC’s Center for Professional Education (CPE) programs by managing day-to-day operations, logistics, scheduling, and program communications.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in an education, training, or program support environment
  • Relevant education may be considered in lieu of direct experience

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in continuing education, professional education, extension, outreach, or workforce development
  • Experience supporting non-credit, community-facing, or adult learner programs

  • This is a fully on-site position.

Compensation and Benefits:


Programs Operations & Coordination

  • Coordinate daily operations for assigned CPE programs, including scheduling, logistics, materials, and instructional support
  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for instructors, facilitators, and internal/external partners
  • Support program setup, launch, delivery, change management, and close-out activities
  • Maintain program calendars, rosters, records, and required documentation
  • Ensure program delivery aligns with approved scope, timelines, budgets, and institutional guidelines

Administrative & Team Support

  • Contribute to process improvement efforts, documentation, templates, and operational resources
  • Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and cross-functional coordination
  • Provide general administrative and project support aligned with departmental priorities
  • Support development and monitoring program budgets in collaboration with leadership

Student Support & Program Experience

  • Serve as a point of contact for prospective and enrolled learners regarding program logistics, expectations, and navigation
  • Support onboarding processes, orientation materials, and pre-course communications
  • Assist with attendance tracking, completion records, evaluations, and post-program follow-up
  • Identify and escalate learner concerns to leadership as appropriate
  • Help foster a positive, professional, and responsive learner experience

Instructor, Partner, & Relationship Support

  • Assist with sourcing, onboarding, and supporting instructors, facilitators, and subject-matter experts
  • Coordinate instructor agreements, documentation, communications, and expectations
  • Support partnership development and help maintain relationships with employers, vendors, and community organizations connected to assigned programs

Systems, Data & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate program, instructor, and enrollment data across CPE systems/platforms
  • Generate reports related to enrollment, attendance, completion, instructor engagement, and program performance
  • Support audits, compliance checks, and internal reviews as needed
  • Use data to support planning and identify operational improvements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills to manage scheduling, logistics, records, and daily program operations
  • Effective communication and customer service skills for supporting learners, instructors, and partners
  • Ability to maintain accurate data and generate reports related to enrollment, attendance, and program performance
  • Ability to support instructors and partners through onboarding, documentation coordination, and ongoing communication
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and escalate concerns to ensure a positive learner and program experience

This position is a Limited Duration Appointment (LDA).

A Limited Duration Appointment (LDA) is a form of regular employment for a specific project or for a limited period. An LDA may be established for up to one year with an option to renew the appointment annually for a maximum of three years. Please note that this position may be converted to a permanent position prior to or at the conclusion of three years, funding dependent.
