The University of Tennessee Southern Travis School of Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education(CCNE).
The mission of the University of Tennessee Southern Travis School of Nursing and Health Sciences is to prepare nurses at the baccalaureate level in a collegiate environment of academic rigor, based on liberal arts and sciences, who are critical thinkers, lifelong learners, and leaders in the profession.
Located in southern middle Tennessee, UT Southern is about 70 miles south of Nashville and 40 miles north of Huntsville, Alabama. The campus is nestled in the small community of Pulaski and currently enrolls about 800 students a year.
UT Southern is the newest campus to join the UT System, evolving from UT’s acquisition of Martin Methodist College in 2021. The University of Tennessee Southern Jeannette M. Travis School of Nursing and Health Sciences invites applications for the position of an adjunct non-tenure track position as clinical instructor in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
Minimum Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (All degrees must be from an accredited program)
- Must have or be eligible for unencumbered RN license
- Experience in nursing A
Provide clinical instruction to students in approved health care settings and the simulation lab, while adhering to the policies of the clinical setting, the school of nursing, and the University of Tennessee Southern.
