Athletic Trainer - UT Southern

The Opportunity The University of Tennessee Southern enthusiastically invites applications for the position of Nursing Instructor (Full Time 9-month, Non-Tenure-Track). This is a full-time faculty position with teaching responsibilities in Nursing, housed in the School of Nursing and Public Health Education. Instructors are expected to be dedicated to excellent undergraduate education and student success. Instructors typically teach a 15 credit hour workload of courses per semester as well as provide service to the university and community. There may be opportunities to develop new courses. This is a full-time, in-person position beginning in August 2025.

The Opportunity The University of Tennessee Southern enthusiastically invites applications for the position of Philosophy Instructor (Full Time, Non-Tenure-Track) in the School of Arts & Humanities. Instructors are expected to be dedicated to excellent undergraduate education and student success. Instructors typically teach five courses per semester as well as provide service to the university and community. There may be opportunities to develop new courses. Primary consideration will be given to candidates with experience teaching philosophy courses at the undergraduate level, though previous experience is not a requirement. Generalists as well as those with specialization in ethics, logic and critical thinking, religious studies, and other areas are invited to apply. This is a full-time, in-person position beginning in August 2025.

The Admissions Counselor is primarily responsible for the recruitment of all students to UT Southern. Responsibilities include outreach recruitment duties, hosting prospective student guests on campus, and assisting interested students the entire way through their application and admissions process. The counselor is also tasked with building bridges between UT Southern and local constituents to raise awareness, among advisors at local institutions, of the opportunities available to students at UT Southern.

Located in Pulaski, UT Southern stands as the fourth undergraduate campus in the UT System. It is the only public four-year institution of higher education between Chattanooga and Memphis, and situated along Tennessee’s southern border, the campus is conveniently located about 70 miles south of Nashville and 40 miles north of Huntsville, Alabama.
