Job Description

The Department of Ophthalmology at the Hamilton Eye Institute, University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, TN is actively seeking a fellowship-trained retina specialist, who is board-certified/board-eligible (Medical or Surgical Retina) for a full-time Assistant Professor with an interest in ocular oncology to join our department.

Responsibilities

Duties will include sharing responsibility with existing faculty for didactic and clinical training of residents and fellows as well as clinical care of patients at faculty practice sites.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

BASIC QUALIFICATION:

  • MD; Must be board-eligible or board-certified; vitreoretinal fellowship-train

DEPARTMENTAL PREFERENCE:

  • Experience as a Hospitalist is preferred
