Job Description
Assistant coach will support the head coach with all day to day activities to run the men's and women's swimming program including but not limited to facilitating practices, recruiting high quality student athletes and event day management.
Responsibilities
60%
Assistant coach will be expected to attend all men's and women's swim team practices, conditioning and meets. Responsible for coordinating event day logistics. Ability to do pool maintenance tasks including but not limited to maintaining chemical balance, vacuuming, overall cleanliness of the aquatic center. All other duties as assigned including teaching activity courses (when applicable).

The assistant coach will be tasked with running specific swimming disciplines. Responsible for team study tables and academic progress. Responsible for team social media accounts. Assist the Head Coach in recruiting highly competitive student athletes that will thrive under the UT Southern culture that encompasses "WINNING" in the classroom, venue and in the community.
Qualifications
Knowledge and ability to explain/teach in the sport of swimming is a must. Ability to provide structure and mentorship to student-athletes. Reasonable skills in maintaining aquatic equipment and pool facility.
