Senior Custodian - Facilities, Planning, and Management

Job Description

The Senior Custodian performs routine cleaning, housekeeping, and upkeep of campus buildings or area of assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Operates light equipment such as vacuums, shampooers, extractors, buffers, and scrubbers
  • Cleans and sanitizes floors, restrooms, walls, and furniture in offices and institutional buildings and facilities
  • Restocks supplies
  • Empties and sanitizes garbage containers and removes recyclables/trash to disposal areas
  • Mixes and utilizes cleaning solutions and chemicals

Qualifications

Minimum:

Typically requires a high school diploma or the equivalent. A valid driver’s license is required.
