Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Lead and manage the overall operations of PSS including responsibility for the distribution centers and related supply chain activities.
  • Oversee inventory control, warehousing, transportation, and logistics operations to optimize service delivery and cost. Work with team members, vendors, suppliers, and carriers to ensure seamless operations and timely deliveries.
  • Hire, train, and manage a high-performing team, including project managers, customer support staff, warehouse managers and other operational staff. Provide leadership and guidance to teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
  • Manage the operational budget, working capital, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving measures without sacrificing service quality.
  • Ensure Customer Service & Quality Control

  • Sets or contributes to the business strategy for own site / location (Division)

Managing People/Leadership

  • Has management responsibilities for multiple departments, possibly doing diverse activities (cross discipline).

Problem-Solving

  • Requires conceptual thinking in complex/completely new situations.

  • On Pilot Travel Centers segments/large functions.

Communication/Interpersonal Skills

  • Developed communication skills to negotiate internally and externally at high levels.
