he Warehouse Picker is responsible for accurately selecting products to fill customer orders and preparing them for packing and shipment. This position helps ensure orders are complete, products are handled properly, and the warehouse remains safe and organized.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Pick products according to pick tickets, order details, and shipping instructions.
• Verify item numbers, quantities, sizes, and finishes to ensure the correct products are selected.
• Inspect products for visible damage and report any concerns to the supervisor.
• Move picked products to designated packing or shipping areas.
• Use handheld scanners or warehouse systems to record product movement and order completion.
• Report inventory shortages, incorrect locations, and picking errors promptly.
• Assist with stocking, replenishing picking locations, and inventory counts.
• Handle products carefully to prevent damage.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, aisles, and storage locations.
• Follow safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
• Operate material-handling equipment as trained and authorized.
• Work with warehouse, production, and shipping team members to meet daily goals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, order-picking, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read pick tickets, product labels, and written instructions.
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work accurately while meeting daily picking goals.
• Basic computer or handheld scanner skills preferred.
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work effectively with a team.
• Willingness to learn NGP products and warehouse procedures.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move products within established safety limits, using assistance or equipment as needed.
• Ability to handle long or bulky products safely.
• Work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
