Job Summary/Basic Function

Reporting to the Director of Alumni Relations, the Assistant Director position involves the development, design, planning and implementation of alumni programs and engagement activities designed to foster and strengthen the relationship between the University and its alumni. The incumbent will, as part of the Alumni Relations team, serve as a liaison to collaborate and coordinate with other departments, volunteers, and the current student population to advance engagement opportunities and achieve the objectives of the alumni programs.

Required Education

Bachelor's degree required.

Required Related Experience

Two years' relevant experience. Experience working with a diverse audience. Ability to work evenings, weekends and out of town travel required.

Desirable Related Experience

Previous work in higher education preferred. Prior experience working with volunteers and/or volunteer boards preferred.
