Job Summary/Basic Function
Oversee and direct the financial operations and administration of the Athletic Business Office, including providing sound fiscal stewardship and compliance with all University, NCAA, and Conference policies, procedures, and regulations. Responsible for financial reporting in accordance with GASB and NCAA requirements, preparing and monitoring Athletic budgets, and overseeing and directing Ticket Office operations. Establish and maintain a system of internal controls that verifies the integrity of processes and tracking of data in accordance with policies and procedures per applicable guidance. Continuously evaluate financial processes to streamline and improve workflow and reporting efficiencies.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree
Required Related Experience
Five (5) years full time, progressively responsible employment in an accounting or business analyst position, including three (3) years in a supervisory capacity.
Desirable Related Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field; NCAA Division 1 Athletic accounting experience preferred.
