Job Summary/Basic Function
The Assistant Football Equipment Manager is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the football equipment department. This role plays a critical part in managing inventory, ensuring proper equipment fitting, maintaining safety standards, and overseeing the logistics of the football equipment room. The individual in this position will work closely with coaches, student-athletes, and various departments to ensure compliance with NCAA, Conference USA (C-USA), and university policies while optimizing efficiency and safety.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in athletic equipment management or a related field.
Required Related Experience
One (1) year experience with equipment management software, and inventory tracking systems. Prior experience working with student-athletes and coaching staff in an athletic equipment setting. Graduate Assistant experience will be accepted
Required License/Registration/Certification
AEMA certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Desirable Related Experience
Two (2) years experience with equipment management software, and inventory tracking systems. Prior experience working with student-athletes and coaching staff in an athletic equipment setting. Graduate Assistant experience will be accepted
