Job Summary/Basic Function
The Assessment and Accreditation Specialist provides administrative, technical, and analytical support for the College of Education’s assessment, reporting, survey administration, and accreditation processes. The position manages assessment systems, designs and administers surveys, collects and verifies data, and maintains documentation required for state and national accreditation. Serving as a College-wide resource, this role supports all programs and operational units in meeting assessment, reporting, and compliance expectations. The specialist ensures that data, evidence, and records are accurate, organized, and accessible to support continuous improvement, program review, and accreditation activities.
Required Education
Master’s degree; OR bachelor’s degree with a minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible related experience.
Required Related Experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in assessment, surveys, data management, accreditation support, compliance, institutional effectiveness, or related administrative work.
• Candidates with a bachelor’s degree must demonstrate at least four (4) years of progressively responsible related experience.
Desirable Related Experience
• Experience supporting educator preparation programs or colleges of education.
• Experience with CAEP or state program approval processes.
• Experience with assessment or accreditation platforms (e.g., SL&L, TK20/Watermark).
• Experience with survey platforms (Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Microsoft Forms).
• Experience preparing compliance, audit, or accreditation documentation.
