Job Summary/Basic Function
This position manages student accounts funded by third-party sponsors, ensuring accurate billing, proper documentation, and compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities include evaluating eligibility, applying expected sponsorship to student accounts, maintaining sponsor records, reconciling accounts, and invoicing third-party sponsors for payments. Responsible for resolving discrepancies while providing guidance to students, sponsors, and internal departments.
Required Education
Associate’s degree (two years college coursework) or higher required. Preferably in Business, Accounting or a related field. Note: a high school diploma or high school equivalency and four (4) years of related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Required Related Experience
One year of progressively responsible experience in business, general bookkeeping, accounting, education administration, or a related field. (Student-worker, internship, and/or work-study experience in these areas can be considered).
Desirable Related Experience
An ideal candidate will have work experience in an administrative university environment (Student-worker and/or work-study experience in these areas is acceptable).
