Job Summary/Basic Function
Monitor and maintain budgeting for all Center for Teaching and Mentoring accounts; make purchases; provide assistance to faculty in Center for Teaching and Mentoring as needed; assist with special events such as workshops, clinics, retreats, conferences; schedule appointments for the Director, answer telephone, take messages, and assist callers; oversee student workers; order office supplies; initiate work orders; answer telephone, direct visitors and deliver messages; process hiring paperwork for faculty, student workers, and Graduate Assistants (GAs), process extra compensation paperwork for faculty leaders, faculty learning communities, and other programs; make changes to the Center for Teaching and Mentoring website; and perform other related duties as assigned.
Note: This a 30 hour/week, 80% position.
Required Education
High school diploma or high school equivalency (HSE) required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Required Related Experience
Two years of technical, bookkeeping, clerical or customer service experience required. Note: An Associate's degree (2 years of college coursework) and one year experience may be considered in lieu of work experience.
