Servers guide guests through their dining experience—from a warm greeting and helpful recommendations to attentive service and a sincere thank-you. The ideal candidate is personable, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests promptly and provide attentive, courteous service.
Learn menu ingredients, preparation methods, daily specials, and beverage offerings.
Take accurate orders and enter them correctly into the POS system.
Communicate allergies, dietary requests, and modifications clearly to the kitchen and management.
Serve food and beverages promptly, checking orders for accuracy and presentation.
Anticipate guest needs, refill beverages, clear dishes, and maintain clean tables.
Recommend appetizers, beverages, and desserts based on guest preferences.
Address concerns respectfully and involve management when needed.
Process payments accurately and follow cash-handling procedures.
Complete opening, closing, and assigned side work.
Support teammates with food running, bussing, and dining room preparation.
Follow food safety, responsible alcohol service, uniform, and grooming standards.

Qualifications

Previous restaurant serving experience preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask while remaining organized and composed.
Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a team-focused attitude.
Willingness to learn Della’s menu and service standards.
Availability for assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to perform essential duties, including standing, walking, and carrying trays, with reasonable accommodation as needed.
Must meet applicable requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
