RKA Construction is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support the Marketing Department with day-to-day marketing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on social media, photography, videography, and content creation. This is a hands-on, early-career role ideal for a marketing or communications professional looking to build experience in construction marketing, brand storytelling, and visual media.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media & Content Creation –

• Assist with creating and scheduling content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms
• Capture photo and video content at jobsites, company events, and team activities
• Assist with short-form video editing (Reels, Stories, behind-the-scenes content)
• Support caption writing and content organization under the direction of the Director

Photography & Videography –

• Support coordination and execution of project photography
• Assist with organizing, editing, and cataloging visual assets
• Help maintain consistency with RKA brand standards across visuals

Brand & Marketing Support –

• Ensure all content aligns with RKA’s brand standards and messaging
• Assist with content planning in coordination with the Director
• Support marketing campaigns, events, and internal initiatives as needed
• Assist with basic performance reporting and insights

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization
• Strong photography and videography skills, including short-form video editing
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative while working within established direction and brand standards.
• Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and analytics
• Comfortable working on active construction jobsites
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to RKA jobsites, project locations, and events as needed (Memphis, Oxford, Pickwick Lake)
