Job Summary:
The Pre-Production Technician is responsible for having all pre-production products, (stampers and
labels), prepared and available for production to manufacture vinyl records. This will be accomplished
by, ordering, receiving, inventorying, cataloguing, processing, and archiving both stampers and labels.

Duties/Responsibilities:
● Coordination of labels – including
o Receiving of labels from outside vendors and verifying that they match what was ordered
o Processing of labels for production by appropriately baking them to reduce the moisture
levels/content in the paper
o Inventorying the labels
● Coordination of stampers – including
o Ordering stampers from the appropriate vendors
o Processing of stampers by etching appropriate job numbers on each stamper
o Cataloguing job numbers assigned to stampers
o Archiving stampers
● Preparing of production check list
● Other duties within department that may be assigned

Education and Experience:

Data entry experience
Simple math knowledge

Physical Requirements:
Potential lifting of 25 to 50 lbs.
Stair climbing
