THE ROLE

The Truth is seeking a part-time Ancillary Manager to oversee the venue's ancillary revenue programs during events, including VIP Club / Vinyl Room upgrades, Fast Lane, coat check, future ticket sales, and other guest experience enhancements. This position is responsible for leading ancillary sales staff, maximizing revenue opportunities, maintaining inventory, and ensuring seamless guest experience while supporting the venue's overall financial goals.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Lead and support the ancillary sales team during events, ensuring exceptional guest service and successful execution of all ancillary programs

  • Communicate with the venue’s core team about staffing, upsell availability and overall execution of upsell programs during the show.

  • Communicate with the box office manager during the day of show to trouble shoot any opportunities that arise with guests, upsell availability or equipment.

  • Assist venue leadership in identifying new ancillary revenue opportunities and lead the development, testing, implementation, and ongoing execution of ancillary products and services.

  • Provide suggestions to venue leadership based on feedback from team and guests during the day of show. Suggestions may include topic such as pricing strategies, best practices and team execution for both presales and day of show.

  • Fosters positive experiences for guests, staff, and other stakeholders in a manner that establishes the venue as a safe, enjoyable, and supportive environment

  • Assist with inventory management and accountability for ancillary products and supplies

  • Provide feedback around finding new, creative revenue streams for the venue based on day of show experiences and trends.

  • Secure and reconcile day of show ancillary sales.

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
