THE TEAM

At Live Nation Entertainment, we have the privilege of optimizing content for the world’s most high-profile, in-demand live events, and we are looking to continue expanding our best-in-class digital marketing team. We are looking for a motivated, organized, data-driven individual who can bring their SEO expertise to help us conceive and execute SEO projects that not only adhere to best practices but also help us define new industry standards through testing and innovation.

THE ROLE

As the SEO Associate Manager, you will help drive the overall health and performance for a select profile of Live Nation/ Ticketmaster digital properties. This role is ideal for someone energized by the full spectrum of modern SEO; from content quality, search intent alignment, and SERP feature optimization to the technical factors that influence discoverability, rendering, and crawl efficiency and who enjoys partnering with others to translate insights into scalable, high‑impact search performance improvements.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Technical Tactics: Audit site health (speed, rendering, and structure) to deliver immediate improvements while adhering to established technical SEO best practices.

  • Technical Optimization: Resolve technical debt to ensure search engines can easily crawl, index, and prioritize site content.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track rankings, traffic, and crawl health to proactively identify and fix SEO issues.

  • Content Marketing: Analyze competitor gaps and user intent to ensure content captures all stages of the customer journey and wins specific SERP features (like featured snippets).

  • Editorial Collaboration: Partner with content and marketing teams to integrate SEO best practices directly into the content creation and scheduling process.

  • AI-Driven Optimization: Support experimentation and optimization for AI‑driven search experiences (e.g., ChatGPT, Google AI Mode) by applying structured data and entity best practices.

  • Strategic Communication: Stay informed on evolving search trends and help translate relevant changes into clear, actionable insights

  • Engineering Integration: Partner with developers during the build phase to help ensure every new feature or site update is search-friendly from the start.

  • Product & UX Consulting: Provide guidance and recommendations to product managers on balancing user experience (UX) with search requirements to ensure new features drive both engagement and organic traffic.

  • Cross-Functional Advocacy: Support cross‑functional teams, including Design, Marketing, and Project Management, by offering SEO insights and recommendations that help align work with search best practices.

  • Performance Analysis: Combine data from multiple sources to measure how SEO projects are performing and turn those findings into clear, strategic reports.

  • KPI Management: Use internal and external tools to maintain and update key performance dashboards that track the health of the search business.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Deep SEO Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in the field, specifically focusing on organic growth and "natural" search results.

  • Full-Stack SEO Knowledge: Proficiency in how front-end code (HTML, CSS, JS) and back-end systems (Servers, APIs) interact to affect how search engines "see" and "rank" a site.

  • Core Technical SEO: Advanced knowledge of the "plumbing" of a website; ensuring sitemaps, canonical tags, and page rendering are perfectly optimized for discovery.

  • Advanced Toolset: Strong working knowledge of standard SEO platforms (Semrush, Profound) alongside high-level data environments like BigQuery, Databricks, and BI tools (Tableau, Domo).

  • Performance Analysis: The ability to run SEO experiments and use hard data to measure and evaluate impact on traffic and revenue a specific technical change generated.

  • Actionable Insights: Moving beyond "reporting numbers" to providing SEO advice that helps both engineers and executives make better business decisions.

  • AI & GEO Adaptation: A forward-looking understanding of how AI-driven search (Generative Engine Optimization) and changing search results (SERPs) impact traditional traffic.

  • AI Workflow Efficiency: Using AI tools to automate tedious tasks and speed up research without losing human control over the final strategy.

  • Product Lifecycle Knowledge: Experience working within professional development frameworks like Agile or Kanban to get SEO tasks prioritized in the "sprint" alongside new features.

  • Cross-Functional Influence: The ability to help lead complex projects across different departments; Design, Engineering, and Marketing with appropriate guidance from senior leadership.

  • Hybrid Experience: A preference for candidates who understand both the "fast-paced" agency environment and the "deep-focus" in-house corporate environment.

  • Interpersonal Excellence: High-level communication skills used to simplify complex technical problems for non-technical partners.

  • Ownership & Culture: A self-starter who takes full responsibility for their projects while actively supporting the growth and positive environment of the broader team.
