Job Summary:
Brooklyn Bowl Nashville is looking for a Ticket Seller to work in their box office.
The Ticket Seller is responsible in assisting guests with their show ticket needs. This position is a resource for all guest questions with an energetic, upbeat and positive attitude. Generate revenue by selling and issuing show tickets directly to guests at the Box Office. Responsible for collecting funds/documentation for tickets. Assist all customer/guests to select and purchase merchandise.
The starting hourly rate for this position is $20 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Process and verify credit card and cash transactions
Maintain constant surveillance of cash drawer to ensure accuracy
Maintain superior customer service both in person and over the phones
Answer phone promptly and with a phone
Guest relations
Will call window
Ensure appropriate placement of all merchandise to promote sales
Assist all customer/guests to select and purchase merchandise
Process opening and closing paperwork
Knowledge of talent and entertainment
Assist with miscellaneous box office projects as directed
Required:
Positive, friendly attitude
Keep a clean, well-groomed appearance
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Excellent skills in customer service, phone etiquette, cash handling, filing, multi-task environment, attention to detail
Ability to communicate, work well with others, work in a high-volume, and sometimes stressful environment
Working knowledge of phone handling, cashiering, customer service
Preferred:
Experience in a live music environment
Experience working in a high-volume restaurant, bar or entertainment venue preferred
Entry level knowledge of basic computer operation and point of sales systems
Ability to type 30 wpm
High School Diploma or GED
Previous Ticketing experience
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful
Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
