THE JOB

The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager and marketing team on all administrative and marketing needs, and necessary tasks. Primary activities include developing marketing materials; market research (phone calls, web search); invoice handling; show support (filing, documentation) and promotional support (guest list, on-site promos, street team assistance).
This role is based Beverly Hills and ideal candidate would be able to be on-site daily.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Perform a range of administrative and marketing support duties related to the daily operations of the Live Nation marketing group
  • Maintain accurate up-to-date schedules, guest lists, ticket requests, phone logs, databases for marketing team
  • Support promotional and street team activities at venue, off-site and online
  • Create and publish venue newsletters, show e-cards, weekly press releases
  • Assist in maintenance of show files and supportive documentation
  • Engage patrons and inform them of upcoming events
  • Assist with venue social media calendar maintenance
  • Attend staff meetings at venue(s)
  • Order production of advertising materials as directed by Marketing Manager
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements
  • Organize server, databases and Dropbox, keeping them continually maintained and updated
  • Track all invoices and payments
  • Maintain an understanding of Live Nation shows and products
  • Maintain current knowledge of organizational and department policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all confidentiality requirements for corporate, strategic, and marketing information

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • 1-3 years work experience. Prior promotions or marketing experience a plus
  • Ability to function in a very fast-moving environment; quick reaction time to last minute changes
  • Attention to detail and a high level of organization is imperative
  • Must have the ability to prioritize, organize, handle multiple tasks
  • Must be able to think proactively and, at times, work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; communicates effectively and courteously with all contacts – internal and external
  • Highly adaptive and proactive problem solving critical to success; must be resourceful individual who can quickly solve problems; ability to make independent decisions
  • Organizes workload throughout the day to meet project timelines and deadlines; must multitask and manage several projects at once; continuously shift focus/priorities as needed
  • Familiarity with metro city and surrounding areas
  • PC proficient and works with a high degree of accuracy
  • High level user of spreadsheets and Microsoft Office (strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint program skills)
  • Uses Internet and email programs proficiently
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as Dropbox is a plus
