We are seeking a VP of A&R and Development to join our dynamic creative team and help shape the visual identity of our artists and brand.

Position Summary

As a VP of A&R and Development, you will The Vice President of A&R and Development will report to and support the President in leading the strategic vision, direction, and execution of new artist discovery, branding, development, strategy, and repertoire for Integrity Music. This executive-level position will play a key role in shaping the creative direction of the label, cultivating relationships with current and prospective artists, and ensuring alignment with Integrity Music's mission to resource and impact the Church worldwide. The VP of A&R and Development will work cross-functionally with the VP of Marketing, publishing, international partners, and commercial partnerships to drive long-term creative and commercial success. This role will serve as the senior leader and strategic partner within the A&R team, modeling best practices and supporting team development in collaboration with the President.

This role will also provide direct oversight of A&R budgets and resource allocation, ensuring financial stewardship and alignment with organizational goals. In addition, the VP will champion digital-first strategies—leveraging streaming data, analytics, and innovative release models—to maximize artist reach and engagement. Given Integrity Music’s global impact, the VP must bring cultural awareness and experience working across diverse worship contexts, modeling Christ-centered leadership and fostering inclusion throughout the artist roster and team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-Lead Integrity Music’s song release strategy with a focus on new artist branding, development, and long-term growth in collaboration with the VP of Marketing and Commercial Partnerships.
  • Co-lead successful artist launches that reflect strong brand clarity, audience growth, and alignment with marketing and commercial strategies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and sign artists and worship leaders with global potential, contributing to label growth and international impact.
  • Build and maintain strong artist relationships, ensuring high satisfaction, retention, and measurable growth in audience engagement and song consumption.
  • Oversee creative direction across artist projects, including song selection and production, ensuring quality, innovation, and brand alignment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, publishing, and commercial partnerships teams to support strategic execution and shared goals.
  • Partner with Commercial Partnerships and Marketing to drive streaming performance, playlist placements, and digital-first campaigns.
  • Represent Integrity Music at conferences, industry events, and within church networks to expand external reputation and professional reach.
  • Co-lead bi-weekly Strategic Release Meetings to develop and execute data-driven music release strategies.
  • Champion innovative artist development initiatives such as songwriting camps, co-writing sessions, and global church partnerships.
  • Serve as a “player/coach” on the A&R team, modeling strategic thinking and supporting team development and performance management.
  • Collaborate with A&R Directors to align artist development strategies while maintaining formal reporting lines with the President.
  • Manage A&R budget and resource allocation, ensuring financial stewardship and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing on all radio single release planning, strategy, song selection and hiring of independent radio programmers.
  • Act as a senior culture carrier, modeling Integrity Music’s mission, values, and Christ-centered leadership across the organization.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Entertainment or related field.
  • 15+ years of professional experience, preferably in the music or entertainment industry.
  • 10-15 years of progressive experience in A&R, music publishing, or label leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success in discovering and developing worship artists.
  • Prior leadership of cross-functional creative teams required.
  • Experience working in global markets and cross-cultural ministry contexts strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead teams through organizational change and evolving music distribution models.
  • Travel required.
  • Position is based in the Nashville, TN office.
