Job Summary
We are looking to hire an experienced Manager, Tech Solutions Operations to develop and oversee a team focused on helping drive adoption of our products, services, and capabilities to both prospects and existing partners. The Sales Solutions Architect team conduct discovery calls, draft and deliver presentations, demonstrate the capabilities of company products, create customized software solutions, and ensure the Integration project teams have all the documents and artifacts needed to execute those customized solutions with the client. In-depth knowledge of web development, architecture, and web service APIs, a passion for solutions, and high-level communications skills are critical to the success of this role. Ultimately, a top-notch Solutions Operations team drives sales and adoption by creating specialized business solutions, tailor-made to the client's needs.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
· Lead and develop a team of Solution Consultants; own hiring, coaching, performance, and coverage planning
· Define and maintain the team's pre-sales methodology, discovery frameworks, and solution design standards
· Set the quality bar for all solution design documentation — ensuring every handoff to Business Development is complete and pitch-ready
· Serve as the senior technical voice in strategic accounts, escalations, and executive-level prospect conversations
· Partner with Business Development leadership to align on pipeline, handoff protocols, and deal strategy
· Act as the primary feedback channel from the field to Product — synthesizing customer requirements and integration gaps, and routing them to engineering and product management
· Standardize and optimize the delivery of tailored product demonstrations and proof of concepts
· Oversee team responses to technical RFPs/RFIs to ensure high-quality and timely submissions
· Build reusable playbooks, templates, and tools that improve team speed and consistency across verticals and use cases
· Stay current on emerging platform capabilities including AI-native and agentic architectures, API-driven integration patterns, and data product constructs — ensuring the team can credibly represent the full product suite
· Represent the Solution Consulting function in leadership planning, pipeline reviews, and cross-functional forums
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
What We're Looking For
· 5 - 8+ years in pre-sales, solutions consulting, sales engineering, or technical account management; 2+ years leading or managing a pre-sales team
· Proven ability to build and run a consultative pre-sales function in an enterprise B2B environment
· Strong technical aptitude — able to understand and communicate complex platform architectures, data products, API ecosystems, and integration requirements
· Familiarity with modern data and AI platform concepts: agentic systems, API-first architecture, data exchange methods, and enterprise connector frameworks
· Excellent communication and presentation skills; equally effective with engineering teams and C-suite audiences
· Demonstrated ability to translate technical capability into business value narratives a commercial team can pitch and close
· Experience in supply chain, logistics, data intelligence, or AI-native platforms preferred
· Bachelor's degree required

Minimum Experience
5 - 8 years proven Enterprise partner, sales, or solutions experience
Domicile Information:
This position is eligible for remote work and may be located anywhere within the United States, excluding AK, HI, and U.S. territories. Candidates within 50 miles of a FedEx campus may be required to work onsite several times per week. Periodic travel to partner, customer, and conference sites is expected.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
