Job Description
We are seeking a Business Banking Account Management Leader to manage a team of eight Account Managers who provide dedicated support to Business Banking Payments Sales Representatives, Bank Partners and client portfolios. This leader will ensure the team delivers exceptional service, strengthens relationships, and drives exceptional service, with both internal and external stakeholders. The role requires strong leadership, account managements expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Banking Account Managers, ensuring high performance, professional growth, and strong employee engagement.
- Oversee account management activities for Business Banking portfolios, ensuring consistent and proactive client support.
- Achieve portfolio growth targets. Analyze and report on teams performance to quantitative and qualitative goals, including attrition, retention, cross-sell and referrals to Bank
- Partner with Business Banking and Business Banking Payments leaders to strengthen collaboration and enhance client experience.
- Act as a key liaison between account management and senior management and senior leadership, ensuring alignment on strategy, performance, and client needs.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and client-first service within the account management team.
- Drive process improvements, identify opportunities for efficiency, and ensure consistent execution of best practices.
- Maintain strong business banking knowledge and external awareness to support clients effectively and advise team members on deepening payments only portfolio.
- There is an in office requirement of three days or week or with direct reports in market
- Operate from a designated hub location to remain connected to teams and business partners.
- Lead and co-create onboarding and engagement strategies for segment to maximize best client experience.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in account management, business banking, or related financial services.
- 3+ years of experience in a people leadership role, preferably in banking or financial services.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Demonstrates strong strategic thought leadership.
- Strong understanding of Business Banking sales process, partner engagement, and client portfolio management.
- Ability to collaborate and influence effectively at all levels, including senior leaders.
- Proven success in building and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong communication skills with an executive presence.
- Willingness and ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
Location
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
