At Danny Wimmer Presents, we don’t just put on festivals—we create unforgettable experiences where music, fans, and brands come together in epic ways. SoHo is the food and beverage powerhouse behind DWP’s events, delivering incredible onsite service, innovative menus, and seamless operations that elevate the fan experience. From staffing hundreds of workers per festival to managing vendor relationships and budget tracking, the SoHo team ensures the show runs smoothly from the inside out.

Embedded directly alongside the festival production team, this role serves as the dedicated analytical partner to festival producers. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will dig deep into field data, monitor real-time event expenses against budgets, and crunch the numbers to provide granular insights on festival financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary financial co-pilot for festival producers, providing real-time data analysis, operational guidance, and cost projections.

  • Continuously track festival spend against approved budgets, identifying savings opportunities and flagging cost variances before they impact the bottom line.

  • Oversee line-item invoice processing, GL coding, vendor contract tracking, and accruals to guarantee strict accounting accuracy across all event ledger items.

  • Conduct deep-dive Year-over-Year line-item analyses across festival editions to track cost trends, benchmark vendor rates, and improve future budget accuracy.

  • Investigate site-level expense spikes (e.g., labor overruns, staging logistics, site operations) to explain precisely what drives the numbers behind each festival.

  • Deliver concise post-event financial debriefs and updated cash-flow forecasts to the Finance Manager and executive production leads.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years in production accounting, financial analysis, or operational finance (live events, festivals, or entertainment preferred).

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities (pivot tables, complex formulas, modeling); experience with ERPs and production accounting software.

  • High comfort level working with large datasets, unearthing root causes, and solving complex cost puzzles under deadline pressure.

  • Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between creative production operations and corporate finance standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
