This role reports into the Senior Manager Social Media and is responsible for developing and executing communications strategies that drive awareness, engagement, ticket sales, and audience loyalty across our festival portfolio.You will oversee the communications calendar, lead messaging for festival launches and key campaigns, manage social media channels, and actively engage with our fan community across Facebook Groups and other digital platforms. You'll serve as the voice of the brand, ensuring every audience touchpoint is clear, compelling, and consistent.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategy with execution developing communications plans while also writing, publishing, and engaging directly with audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the annual communications calendar and campaign messaging.
Ensure a consistent brand voice across all channels.
Partner with internal engagement team on audience-facing communications including emails, website copy, announcements, press releases, and campaign messaging.
Develop messaging frameworks, FAQs, and communication briefs for key initiatives.
Support the execution of our email and SMS marketing efforts, as well as influencer partnerships.
Build and nurture relationships with our fan community across Facebook Groups and other online platforms.
Drive audience engagement, advocacy, and year-round participation.
Monitor community sentiment and identify opportunities, trends, and potential issues.
Advise on strategy, messaging, and community insights
Develop social content calendars and coordinate with the Content team to bring campaigns to life.
Monitor performance and optimize content based on audience insights.
Partner with Marketing, Creative, Partnerships, Ticketing, and Operations teams to ensure coordinated campaign execution.
Work closely with the internal Content team, which is responsible for graphic design and visual asset creation.
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in communications, community management, social media, or a related marketing role.
Exceptional writing and storytelling skills.
Experience managing brand social media channels and online communities.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to think strategically while executing at a high level.
Experience in festivals, entertainment, music, sports, hospitality, or consumer brands is a plus.
This position is based in Nashville. Hybrid working schedule, 4 days in office.
The estimated salary range for this position is competitive and includes medical/dental/vision/401k benefits. This represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of DWP's total compensation package for employees.
