Supplier Coordinator

The Supplier Coordinator collaborates with assigned business units to ensure all necessary approvals and documentation are received for all new supplier set ups. They work closely with the business AP teams to keep supplier records accurate and up to date, often changing addresses and updating payment specifications and ACH banking information.
The Supplier Coordinator Duties / Responsibilities:
Support assigned business unit in setting up suppliers in Oracle.
Validate all information in the supplier profile before they are added to Oracle
Verify supplier tax ID’s with IRS
Track supplier insurances and activate/inactivate supplier profiles based on specific criteria for assigned business unit
Review, evaluate, and audit Supplier records within Oracle to ensure companywide guidelines are met
Track and update licensing and insurance information for suppliers in assigned business unit
Correspond with banks and title companies to audit and maintain banking and wiring information for suppliers in assigned business unit
Assist with ad hoc projects
The Supplier Coordinator Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred
Minimum of one year of related experience.
Experience or knowledge of Accounts Payable, Supply Chain Vendor setup, Data structuring and Oracle Supplier modules a plus
Any other related experience is a plus
Able to build and maintain effective relationships and process large volumes of supplier setups with a high degree of accuracy
Work well in a team environment, positive attitude, organized, detail oriented, flexible, analytical, resourceful, strong time management skills, desire to learn, quality minded
The Supplier Coordinator Physical Demands:
Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person.
Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.
Work primarily involves sitting / standing.
