Corporate Pilot
Clayton
The Pilot is responsible for the transportation of company employees for Corporate functions. The Pilot will direct the flight crew, meeting with passengers on business travel, filing the itinerary and flight plans at the airport, and ensuring that all systems are functioning before taking off. Aviation Pilots will report to our Chief Pilot. To be successful in this position, you will need to possess the following requirements:
Requirements:
- Completion of required number of training hours
- Total of 5,000 flight hours
- Minimum 2,500 hours pilot in command (PIC)
- 1,000 hours of PIC turbine
- 1,000 hours of multi-engine
- 500 + hours of actual IFR (Instrument Flight Rules, IMC)
- Pass all relevant tests and exams
- Type rated in an Embraer Phenom 300 & Embraer Legacy 500 preferred
- Possess/obtain all necessary licenses and certification
- Possesses current Airline Transport Pilot’s Certificate (ATP)
- Part 135 or 91 corporate pilot experience a plus
- US first class medical required
- Strong communication skill
- Ability to function under pressure
- Situational awareness
- Read and interpret technical procedures, blueprints and flight manuals
- Ensure compliance of federal, state laws and regulations including federal aviation regulations
- 3-years of previous aviation experience
Job Duties:
- Performing pre-flight and post-flight inspections of fuel, equipment, and navigational systems
- Operating the aircraft safely and ensure strict adherence to flight operations manual
- Monitoring weather conditions and communicating with air traffic control during flights
- Liaising with co-pilots and flight crew throughout the flight
- Anticipating issues and providing updates/reassurance to passengers and crew during emergencies
- Determining the safest routes and analyzing flight plans prior to takeoff
- Getting enough rest between flights
- Keeping up to date with aircraft advancements and equipment
- Make flying a stimulating experience for passengers
- Cooperative and collaborative, willing and eager to work in a team environment, assist with miscellaneous duties as required
