Campus Operations Accounting Clerk IV

This role provides accounting support and expertise dedicated to the Campus Operations and Hospitality group within Clayton, including budget management, expense tracking, and invoice processing, while coordinating contract workflows, supplier onboarding, and compliance with legal and regulatory standards. The position serves as a key liaison between senior leadership, finance, and external partners to ensure accurate records, streamlined processes, and operational efficiency.

Campus Operations Accounting Clerk IV Responsibilities

  • Manage budget administration by assisting with expense tracking, invoice submissions, and financial record-keeping for all current and future Maryville Campus Facilities.

  • Manage budgeting and expense review for Landscaping and Parking Lot Cost Centers.

  • Research and answer questions regarding payments, transactions, and invoices.

  • Work with Campus Senior Management team and Accounting to complete Project Request Forms.

  • Coordinate with legal, procurement, tax, and accounting teams to facilitate Supplier onboarding and ensure compliance with internal processes.

  • Oversee contract workflows from negotiation to approval, ensuring all documentation meets policy and regulatory standards.

  • Maintain organized records of Supplier contracts, payment schedules, and service agreements in Oracle Contracts.

  • Serve as a key liaison between Leadership, Legal, Accounting, Tax, and Suppliers—streamlining sourcing, managing contract negotiations, and ensuring smooth handling of payments and operational logistics across the department.

Campus Operations Accounting Clerk IV Requirements

  • Strong Excel skills, problem solving, and organizational skills

  • Must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize, self-motivated, dependable and able to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Basic accounting knowledge preferred

  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of contacts

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Years of Related Experience: Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience required.
