Staff Accountant Rotation Program
Join Us! Are you ready to open doors to opportunities for leadership development and career growth? As a member of our Staff Accountant Rotation Program with Clayton you will gain in depth experience, ongoing mentorship, and targeted training across a range of accounting departments within the company. Through your time with the program, you will participate in four different rotations in six month increments across various Clayton business units. This program is designed to provide staff accountants with enterprise-wide knowledge, experience, and point of view. The goal of the program is to grow future leaders in Accounting based off performance metrics throughout the program and beyond.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As a part of our Rotational Accounting Development (RAD) Program, you will gain exposure to the full cycle of accounting (costing, monthly closes, financial statemen preparation, P&L analysis, modeling, audit, reconciliations, etc.)
- Develop understanding of accounting policy, practices and standards for corporate functions and various business units.
- Develop basic skills for problem-solving and decision management
- Prepare journal entries for financial transactions
- Prepare balance sheets for allocations, accruals, budgets, and account reconciliation as needed
- Financial reporting and analysis with all accounting under Clayton
- Monitor and track financial performance of various business operations
- Assist with process improvements.
- Assist with research and presentations as needed.
- Collaborate with accounting professionals on developing queries, data formation, reporting, and other special projects.
- Other duties as assigned
When You’ll Be Doing It:
- Monday – Friday (approximately 8:30 – 5:30, can vary based on team)
Compensation:
- You will receive a starting base salary of $62,500
- Quarterly Team Share bonus between 6-9% of quarterly income
- Additional $1,000 bonus after completion of each rotation
Must Be Able To:
- Relocate
- Obtain state required manufactured home sales license
- Use necessary technology
