This position is well suited for an engineer with strong PS&E experience, advanced Civil 3D skills, and a solid understanding of transit operations, accessibility, and urban right‑of‑way constraints.

Produce and review PS&E and construction drawing packages, ensuring technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance with applicable standards.
Review draft designs for compliance with federal, state, local, and transit agency requirements, and sign and seal plans as required.
Perform site reviews and field investigations to confirm design assumptions and update project requirements as needed.
Support projects through design development, QA/QC processes, and agency review cycles.
Coordinate closely with planners, architects, utility owners, transit operations staff, systems engineers, and public agencies.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers; review and oversee their project work.
Support proposal development efforts, including reviewing technical content and participating in client meetings and presentations.
Represent the firm with clients and at industry events to support ongoing and future transit initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation, or Structural Engineering or related discipline. Professional engineering (PE) license. 7 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience developing engineer’s cost estimates (OPCC and PS&E level) and technical specifications.
Familiarity with state DOT, municipal, and transit agency standards and the ability to adapt quickly to new agency criteria.
Experience designing transit infrastructure, such as:
Bus corridors, BRT elements, stations, stops, platforms, and layover facilities.
