Under the supervision of the Cage Shift Manager, the incumbent, either personally or through subordinates, is responsible for the direct operation of the gaming cage and main bank cashiering functions.


  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Must also have one (1) year of casino cage, banking and or cashiering experience and one (1) year of supervisory experience.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older and able to obtain an Indiana Gaming License.

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background check.

  • Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Also required are frequent standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, climbing steps and sitting.

  • Horseshoe Indianapolis Racing & Casino is a smoking establishment.

  • This position has access to the sensitive keys for the whiz machine key (unused forms lock only), cashier’s bag, cage toke box, front window stations, kiosk outside door key/ lock bar key, kiosk cassette key, kiosk cash box, and cap key.

  • Requires Access to the Gaming Floor


  • Cage Supervisors provide excellent customer service to employees and vendors in all situations.
  • All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Horseshoe Indianapolis Racing & Casino policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and Indiana Gaming Regulations.
