Accounting Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Accounting Coordinator provides essential support to the accounting team by administering the company credit card program, processing employee expense reports, and maintaining accurate vendor records. This entry-level role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to customer service in supporting both internal employees and external partners. The Accounting Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions while assisting with other departmental needs.

Essential Job functions:

  • Provide accounting support to multiple record label, publishing, and management companies under the Hybe family of companies
  • Support the Controller on administrating the corporate credit card program, including new card setup, account maintenance, and monthly reconciliations
  • Review and process employee expense reports to ensure accuracy, compliance with company policies, and timely reimbursement
  • Serve as a primary contact for employees regarding credit card and expense report inquiries, providing clear guidance and excellent customer service
  • Maintain business partner (BP) records (vendors and customers) in the accounting system, including setup of new BPs, updates to existing BP information, and compliance with required documentation
  • Assist with invoice processing, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and timely payments
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and support smooth financial operations
  • Support the accounting team with ad hoc projects, reconciliations, and administrative tasks as needed
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
  • Provide necessary documentation/support and leverage accounting knowledge/skillset to support external and internal audits
  • Escalating risks and issues as necessary to leadership

Required experience:

  • 0–2 years of accounting or finance-related experience (internships or part-time work accepted)
  • Experience with expense report systems or vendor management a plus
  • Music industry or entertainment sector exposure preferred but not required

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with ERP or accounting systems preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
