Belmont University seeks a dynamic and visionary Head Coach for Men's Tennis to lead a program that competes at a high level while embracing the University’s commitment to excellence in academics, character development, and student-athlete success. The Belmont Bruins men's tennis program benefits from outstanding resources, including the Belmont Tennis Complex, a supportive athletics culture, and membership in the Horizon League, providing a strong platform for competitive achievement and national visibility. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished recruiter, mentor, and program builder who can attract and develop talented student-athletes, foster a culture of integrity and accountability, and elevate the program’s success both on the court and in the classroom, while representing Belmont University and its Christ-centered, student-focused mission. Under general supervision, the Head Coach Men's Tennis administers, manages, and leads all strategic aspects of the University’s NCAA Division 1 Men’s Tennis programs in such a manner as to build and maintain a competitive, quality program that reflects positively on the image and reputation of the University at all times. Oversees all coaching responsibilities for the program, including planning, preparing, and conducting individual and team practices and training, and coaching at all competitions. Oversees all recruiting activity for the program in accordance with NCAA rules and regulations. Schedules all practices and competitions for the men’s tennis program. Oversees team travel and all administrative and financial operations of the men’s tennis program, including partnering with the Executive Director of the Bruin Club on any fundraising initiatives or stewardship needs. Represents the program to various institutional programs and externally to media, government agencies, funding agencies, students, parents, and the general public. Complies with all NCAA, Conference, University, and Department of Athletics policies. Other duties as assigned.
