The Pre-licensure Program Coordinator supports undergraduate nursing students and program operations within Belmont University's College of Nursing. Serving as a key liaison across students, faculty, university offices, and external regulatory bodies, the Coordinator oversees daily administrative operations, event planning, licensure coordination, and student engagement initiatives. The role ensures seamless execution of major student events, manages compliance processes related to licensure and academic progression, and facilitates effective communication to enhance the overall undergraduate experience and support the program's academic integrity. Primary position responsibilities: Event Planning and Execution: Organizes and executes significant undergraduate student events such as new student orientation, White Coat ceremonies, Pinning ceremonies, graduation events, and related programming to enhance student experiences. Administrative and Student Liaison: Serves as a primary contact between students and university administrative offices, providing guidance and assistance on academic procedures, policies, and resource access. Program Coordination and Daily Operations: Oversees daily administrative tasks, supports Undergraduate Program Chairs with faculty communications, scheduling, and compliance tracking; manages classroom and resource scheduling, and maintains detailed records of key program metrics and documentation. Operational and Purchasing Coordination (Pre-Licensure Programs):Supports purchasing operations for pre-licensure nursing programs, including order processing for instructional and event-related needs. Maintains accurate financial documentation and assists in ensuring alignment with Belmont University financial procedures, in collaboration with the business office and program leadership. Student Engagement and Programming: Coordinates departmental programming, maintains the departmental events calendar, collaborates on planning with leadership teams, and ensures effective communication through timely website updates. Licensure and NCLEX Coordination: Oversees RN licensure processes, coordinates communication with state licensing agencies, organizes informational sessions on licensure and NCLEX preparation, and provides ongoing licensure support post-graduation. Academic Progression and Compliance: Monitors student academic progression, manages academic communications related to progression, dismissal, readmission, and appeals processes, and coordinates collection and archival of committee documentation and academic metrics for continuous improvement.
