This full-time summer internship includes a minimum 10-week assignment and offers a competitive monthly salary. Arconic is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern for the Rolled Products North America Manufacturing, Technology Engineering (MTE) Team in Davenport, IA or Alcoa, TN. This internship provides hands-on experience in a world-class manufacturing environment, allowing you to work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment, contribute to meaningful projects, and build valuable technical and professional skills. Basic Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Expected graduation between August 2027 and May 2028.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in manufacturing, automation, controls, industrial systems, or reliability engineering.
- Previous internship, co-op, research, or manufacturing experience.
- Demonstrated success in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership experience through student organizations, extracurricular activities, or community involvement.
- Initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

In this role, you will:
- Support operational projects and strategic initiatives.
- Provide engineering support to maintenance and operations teams.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and assist with corrective actions.
- Support equipment repairs, rebuilds, and restoration efforts.
- Develop and improve maintenance and repair procedures.
- Assist with equipment upgrades and process improvements.
- Promote quality, safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering solutions.
- Present project findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership at the conclusion of the internship
