Arconic is currently in search of Senior Procurement Site Leader to join our Procurement Operations team based in any of Rolled Products North America locations (Davenport, IA, Alcoa, TN or Lancaster, PA).

Job Summary:

The Senior Procurement Site Leader (North America) is responsible for leading procurement operations across multiple sites, ensuring consistent execution, strong governance, and alignment with regional and global procurement strategies.

This role provides direct leadership to site buyers and matrix leadership across additional locations, driving operational excellence, supplier performance, compliance, and continuous improvement. The position serves as a critical link between plant operations, category management, and executive procurement leadership.

Davenport Works is the country’s largest aluminum rolling mill, it was opened in 1948 and currently employs more than 2,000 people and ships product worldwide. It is in Riverdale in the Quad Cities (Davenport and Bettendorf in southeastern Iowa, and Rock Island and Moline in northwestern Illinois). The Quad Cities is 3 hours south-west of Chicago, 4 hours north of St. Louis, and less than 3 hours from Des Moines. The Quad Cities is home to St. Ambrose University among 8 educational institutes. The Senior Procurement Site Leader (North America) is responsible for leading procurement operations across multiple sites, ensuring consistent execution, strong governance, and alignment with regional and global procurement strategies.

You have: (required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of progressive procurement and/or supply chain experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of people leadership experience.
  • Proven experience overseeing multi-site operations.
  • Experience with ERP Systems (oracle, SAP or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a matrix organization across multiple site, regional, and global teams.
  • Experience driving procurement transformation, centralization, or shared service models.
  • Can show you have experience with procurement operations and tactical sourcing, supplier performance management and escalation and contract compliance and governance (SOX environments).
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Exceptional Candidates also have: (preferred)

  • MBA or related graduate degree.
  • Profession certifications (CPSM, CSCP, CPIM)
  • Background in Lean/Six Sigma/continuous improvement.
  • Strong track record of driving operational performance and process standardization across multiple locations.
  • Proven ability to manage in high-pressure, plant-driven environments with competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capability.
  • Excellent communication and executive stakeholder engagement skills.
