Arconic is currently in search of Engineering and Maintenance Manager to join our Lead Team based in Alcoa, TN.

You have: (required)

Basic Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

Experience:

• 10+ years in heavy manufacturing (metals industry preferred)
• 5–9 years in project management
• 3–5 years in a supervisory role (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical Expertise (10–12 years) in one or more of the following:
• Casting
• Hot rolling
• Cold rolling
• Mill finishing
• Facilities

Experience:

• 10–12 years in project management
• 8+ years in a supervisory role


In this role, you will:
  • Key Responsibilities / Major Activities
  • Direct and manage multiple concurrent engineering projects and project managers
  • Ensure project objectives are met on time and within scope
  • Implement and manage engineering budgets
    • Monitor expenses
    • Analyze and offset budget variances when required
  • Lead maintenance and engineering efforts to improve:
    • Safety
    • Quality
    • Delivery
    • Cost performance
  • Develop engineered solutions for:
    • Plant safety issues
    • Environmental compliance
  • Assist in development and execution of the 5-year Tennessee Operations strategy, including:
    • Growth projects
    • Sustaining projects
    • Major maintenance initiatives
  • Interface with:
    • Corporate procurement
    • Internal and external technical resources
  • Mentor and support:
    • Engineers
    • Manufacturing personnel
    • Maintenance mechanics and electricians
  • Provide technical leadership, training, and project oversight
  • Perform administrative and leadership duties:
    • Approve proposals and expenditures
    • Enforce company policies
    • Conduct performance management
