Creative Assistant

Responsibilities
- Create supplementary design + video assets for album campaigns such as: LP / CD / cassette / merch mockups, pre-order + streaming advertisements, tour banners, 11x17” posters, retail one sheets, event graphics, and more.
- Create website banners, video ads, product and social/newsletter graphics, and video ads for Polyvinyl’s D2C sales & events, such as the annual Garage Sale.
- Adapt existing graphics, photos, and video assets to meet the specs of a variety of online platforms.
- Assist Art Director in pulling logos, textures, images, and color swatches from existing album artwork to create a shared Branding Kit.
- Assist Art Director in downloading & organizing files within our Dropbox ecosystem.
- Assist Art Director in pitching designs & communicating edits with artists and/or management teams.
- Assist Art Director in file sharing/communicating across Google Docs, Slack, and Email to ensure the internal & external teams have the correct versions.
- Assistance at the time of key launch events (single & album release days, pre-order launches, etc) with potential for odd hours to accommodate for international time zones.
- Collaborate with & assist Art Director in maintaining Polyvinyl’s visual brand.

Requirements

Based in our headquarters in Champaign-Urbana, IL, or remotely in the US.
- Must be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite: specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, InDesign.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
Compensation & Benefits

Salaried position: between $40,000 - $44,000 annually based on experience
