Overview:
This position will own all marketing initiatives including Email Marketing, Site Content, Product/Offering/Sales Ideation, and Digital Strategy for our +100 like-minded distributed labels and our in-house labels, including the Light in the Attic imprint. This position is also responsible for executing across the organization via all digital channels with a focus on social, email, and paid advertising. The role conducts digital marketing of both physical and digital releases.

The ideal candidate will possess a functional knowledge of recorded music sales channels and is collaborative, commercially minded, sales-driven, and thrives balancing between execution of short-term tactics and development of longer-term strategy implementation. A passion for music across a diverse array of genres, styles, regions, and eras is a must including physical vinyl records and the vinyl community. +2 years of experience with email marketing, such as Klaviyo and MailChimp, as well as a deep understanding of flow logic are essential experiences. Shopify experience preferred.


Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations and financial performance of LITA’s Direct to Consumer (D2C) channels, executing plans and strategies designed to improve sales, conversion, productivity, and other KPIs.
  • Execute all D2C email marketing campaigns including building, managing and optimizing automated flows using platforms like Klaviyo or MailChimp, while developing behavior-based segmentation to enhance targeting, personalization and conversion.
  • Project manage follow-throughs and logistics for any approved and active store-related marketing campaigns, including ad spends, social campaigns, email marketing, etc.
  • Develop and refine digital project strategy across D2C, identifying short, medium, and long-term opportunities to improve and lead Light in the Attic’s E-commerce strategies
  • Be the online voice of Light in the Attic, including LITA’s socials, LightInTheAttic.net, LITA Artist online stores, our in-house labels and our network of over 100 like-minded distributed labels via management of all social media channels, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, X, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
  • Develop and execute Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) strategies that lead to improvement in key business metrics such as gross margin, customer acquisition and retention, and sales productivity
  • Directly or with third parties create assets for social media such as packshots, memes, playlists, short form video, unboxing videos, product trailers, guest appearance videos, lifestyle brand content, etc.
  • Execute comprehensive, strategic marketing campaigns for the LITA brand, our artists, our label, distributed labels, and partners
  • Work with Sales Team and Label Head to drive label release strategy and execution for key titles, both new releases and re-presses
  • Drive digital monetization including LITA’s YouTube channel and streaming catalog by owning the pitch process for new releases and catalog titles with DSPs
  • Maintain business best practices for managing the reporting/measuring-analytics to optimize marketing ROI
  • Constantly analyze business metrics, sales trends, and customer behavior, and develop actionable cross-functional plans to maximize growth and profitability
  • Continually develop and refine knowledge of E-commerce, digital marketing trends as well as Shopify tools and applications
  • Other duties as assigned

Annual Salary: $90,000 plus health benefits, 401K matching, PTO, paid holidays and remote working.
