The candidate will oversee the end-to-end royalty and publishing operations, manage royalty data processing, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. You’ll bring publishing expertise, stay curious, and help shape the backbone of our tech and operations. This isn’t a corporate silo. What You’ll Do
- Own music publishing & roylaties operations end to end.
- Handle reporting and statements for label and catalog clients.
- Identify messy metadata, inconsistent assets, and fuzzy data.
- Document problems, outline findings, and propose solutions.
- Partner with engineering to shape automation and platform improvements.
- Build processes that scale and evolve.
- Run projects without handholding.
What You Bring
- Strong background in music publishing with a broad understanding of the industry.
- High fluency in Excel (formulas, pivots, reconciliations).
- Self directed mindset and ability to thrive in a fast moving environment.
- Comfort building structure from scratch.
- Clear communication that drives action and informs product decisions.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new systems and workflows.
- Experience in label operations, metadata, distribution, or neighboring rights is a plus.
