Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support our team as a Project Manager (Contract) for the independent record labels Mexican Summer and Anthology Recordings. Please note this is a 12-month contract position, ideally starting in March 2026. As a Project Manager (Contract), you will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and promotion of various campaigns including albums, EPs, singles, compilations, and catalog initiatives during a high-volume year. Candidates must have excellent project management skills (preferably with label experience), a 360-degree understanding of marketing strategies within the music industry, and fluency with our artists and releases.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage campaigns from inception, through release, and to post-release, working closely with the project management, commercial, creative, and A&R teams to execute cohesive global marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in building and maintaining project timelines, task lists, and status trackers across multiple campaigns.
  • Support communication and coordination between the internal label team and external partners for assigned campaigns, ensuring consistent collaboration across stakeholders.
  • Oversee the successful delivery and organization of campaign assets and information, proactively communicating to keep the team on track.
  • Track project budgets and expenses, ensuring adherence to allocated resources and proactively addressing any issues along the way.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to unite all marketing strategies including retail, direct-to-consumer, streaming, digital marketing and social media, ensuring that all campaign initiatives are unified and cohesive.
  • Support press and radio strategy, including spearheading internal promotion efforts, liaising with hired teams to effectively promote campaigns, and reporting secured coverage to maximize exposure for artists and releases.
  • Support the label and artist teams with touring activity.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years project management experience, preferably at a record label, or in a directly similar role within the music industry (e.g., at an artist management company, or distributor)
  • Proven ability to manage complex campaigns and juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication abilities and meticulous organizational skills
  • Fluency with DSPs and their artist portals, social media channels, music marketing platforms, and advertising tools
  • Experience using project management and spreadsheet software
  • Deep familiarity with the Mexican Summer roster and ethos
